The friend of Kelly and Joe's lives in a small apartment at the ground floor of a building located near the restaurant La Mesa, where she works.

As it is made up of only one single room, a curtain allows to separate the living room and kitchen corner part from the bedroom.

Very quickly, Sally proposes to Kelly to cohabit with her, following her departure from the Capwell mansion. The apartment is at first transformed into a meeting place, then, at the departure of Sally, in a love nest for Kelly and Joe.

Thereafter, it is Mason who will live for one moment the apartment (with prostitutes working for Ginger Jones !). He will be joined by Ted, before they both find the way again of the Capwell mansion.

Kelly will finally come to reinvest the place with her fiancé Nick Hartley a few months later, and with them will follow the visits and provisional lodgings of the little band made of Dylan Hatley, Sam Williams and Janice Harrison. At the time of Kelly's nervous breakdown after Dylan's death, we will discover the existence of a neighbor, a saxophonist named Justin Moore (actually a psychiatrist paid by Nick to look after Kelly), who has for habit to come into the apartment... by the window.
